Connor Dunkle knows what he wants in a woman, and it’s the three B’s. Beauty. Body. Boobs. Other women need not apply. With his good looks and easygoing charm, he’s used to getting what he wants—and who. Until he comes face to face with the one woman who’s slowly making his life hell...and enjoying every moment...

Ella Blake is a single mom and a professor at the local Verily college who’s climbed up the ranks the hard way. Her ten-year-old son is a constant challenge, and her students are driving her crazy—namely Connor Dunkle, who’s failing her class and trying to charm his way into a better grade. My Review

I’m always super excited to get a new Jennifer Probst read and especially one in the Searching series!  I have been a huge fan of this series and was so excited to finally get Connor’s story, whom we first met in Searching for Perfect which was his brother Nate’s book!  And since Nate is my favorite BBF in this series I was anxious to meet Connor and get to know him.

So when this first starts out you might not like Connor, he’s the ultimate playboy who doesn’t believe in love.  But every action he has taken since the day that his mom walked out on him and his brother, and subsequently his father checking out on life, Connor’s actions show nothing but love!  He put aside his life as the older brother to make sure that Nate was taken care of, and even in this installment in this heartwarming series, Connor is still taking care of Nate.

Ella Blake is a teacher at the local college.  She’s recently moved to the sleepy NY town on Verily and she’s trying to put back the pieces of her life.  I didn’t really like Ella in the beginning I thought she was just another snot nosed feminist teacher that was too high and mighty to use slang, or act like a fun loving mother.  But it’s not who she is at all, she just needs someone to break her out of her shell and her student Connor gets under her skin and then into her heart!  The problem is that a relationship with him would be wrong, and he’s all wrong for her, he’s not put together and established like she needs in her life.  Unfortunately Ella is judgmental and has no idea what Connor is truly like.

I loved watching Connor put Ella in her place, when it comes to him, the class he takes of hers, and life in general.  If you love a sweet fast read with a super sassy set of characters this one is for you!  Connor starts off rough around the edges but as you get to know him he will MELT YOUR HEART!  Jennifer as always weaves a beautiful tale of two people finding their true soul mate!
