From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Mister Moneybags comes a sexy new standalone novel.Dear Bridget,I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face. So, here goes. We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England. But here’s the thing… for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.I want you.The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke. So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d like to visit me in the middle of the night sometime. No questions asked.Think about it.Or don’t.Whatever you choose. It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.―SimonDear Bridget, I Want You

Oh my goodness this book y’all! I was in a bit of a book slump and this book put me right back to the reason I love reading! It was everything I was looking for.
Can I have Simon please?! He was the perfect book boyfriend to me all wrapped up with the perfect bow! He’s going to leave you swooning ladies and wanting more just wait and see
I wanted Bridget and Simon together from the start and loved their back and forth banter. What starts as a friendship eases into something so much more. Their chemistry was amazing and something they couldn’t hide for very long.
This book brought angst, made me smile and gave me all the feels. Just when you think that’s enough there’s a twist!! Get ready for this amazing must read! I would put this at the top of my 2017 list for sure. It’s a book I’d recommend to everybody.
If you haven’t already do yourself a favor and go one click!! I loved it! I give it 5 huge glittery stars!!
The funny thing is that as there are six of us on our blog we don’t often agree about books we like and dislike. I can honestly say this time Carrie and I agree when it comes to Simon and Bridget! SWOON CITY!!!!! This was the first Vi and Penelope book I’ve read since Stuck Up Suit! I typically like to let the girls read them so its not always one of us reviewing the same authors. However this time after reading that synopsis I was totally hooked in reading this book! I am so glad that I choose to read this one! I couldn’t have asked for a better story!
I loved Simon so much in this book. He was the epitome of every girls dream for a book boyfriend…. Great body, great hair (yes I said hair), good job, great head on his shoulders, loves his family, loyal friend and one super sexy accent!!!! So many times people write foreign characters in a book and they don’t end up sounding anything in words like they should. But Simon had the perfect amount of slang to go with his accent. It wasn’t over the top but just enough that you always saw a piece of his British heritage. I applaud that because it keeps it real throughout the book. I loved his back story and how heartbreaking of an experience he’s had in life. He was touted as a playboy in a way but he really wasn’t like some which are over the top. He just kept company when he wanted and he didn’t date girls superficially which made me love him even more!
Bridget is a hot mess. God I loved her character so much! She’s funny, down to earth, single mom of a growing and curious boy, and she’s experienced some major tragedy, yet come out on top. The opening of this book had me literally in stitches! I was giggling and cracking up at the banter between the two of them in the first chapter of this one. That banter carried through the whole book and it was so enjoyable to read their dialogue. I hate when books get monolog heavy but this one never did that. Penelope and Vi do very well together in showing and not telling us what is happening. Bridget’s son is simply adorable and you cannot help but fall in love with him. He’s written so perfectly for his age, he reminded me a lot of my own kids at this age.
Penelope and Vi are a great combination in writing, you can never tell who’s voice is who’s their books always blend effortlessly. This writing duo has some huge talent there is no doubt about that. I would love to see their creative process when writing these books, it must be a lot of fun!
I give Dear Bridget 5 stars! Simon will make you swoon, Bridget will make you laugh and you will love every minute of their story as it unfolds!
