When Alysin decided to surprise her boyfriend at work with dinner, the surprise was on her. Since he was going at it with his secretary on the conference table, she packed a bag and called her BFF. Jolie and Alysin had been traveling the country, working as digital nomads for ten years ever since graduation. Taking this as a sign it was time for a new move, they decided to take a cruise, regroup, and make a plan.

Then she meets Mr. Bedroom Eyes. Following her lead, they pretend to be married so that she can rid herself of the guy who started hitting on her before the boat left the dock. Though it was supposed to be a momentary arrangement, he asks her to take it one step farther. Then another and another. The cruise promises to be memorable in every way that matters.

Along the way, Alysin learns that she won’t have to fake an orgasm if she’s with someone who knows what to do, that not all men suck, but the best ones suck really well, and that sometimes what starts out as something pretend, can fast become something completely real. Will the woman who lives life with no regrets, regret that she made that stupid rule about not exchanging names and contact info?

Teaser from Sin at Sea

All over the ship, the party atmosphere had taken hold. The cruise was predominantly made up of adults, thank god. Nothing will ruin a good time faster than a crying baby or whiny toddler. Shoot, throw in a child with a full-blown temper tantrum and I want to put a loaded gun in my mouth. I seem to have managed to escape any hint of maternal instincts. I have yet to experience a biological clock scare. I’m probably more likely to encounter biological warfare on American soil than suffer from that ailment. Who knows? Maybe I’ll feel differently in five or ten years. At the same time, I seriously hope not.

The aromas of the buffet on the lido deck hit me the minute I exited the elevator. Then I remembered that if I planned to enjoy the buffets and maintain my slim size six figure then I would need to start taking the stairs. I frowned. Maybe I should take the mid-morning Pilates class that seemed to be offered daily, or walk the track. I chuckled. I don’t own a pair of sneakers. Pilates it would be.

After loading a plate with salad, fruit, potato salad, and some nice southern fried chicken, I found a table by the windows that was vacant. Setting the plate down on the granite, I started to pull out my chair when a man came out of nowhere and did it for me. He wasn’t in uniform. This wasn’t a crewmember being helpful. Nope. I had already attracted a new douche. How the hell did they always seem to find me? If this was any indication as to how the rest of the week was going to go, it was going to feel like a year. I’m not the kind to hibernate in the cabin to avoid problems. I find a way to make them go away.

This time would be no different. After he helped me push in the seat, I spoke. “Thank you.” Then I focused on my food and started eating my salad. Sometimes, I just can’t get enough roughage.

“You are welcome, gorgeous.” He smiled at me, a smile that clearly cost him more than most people make in six months. “So, do you have a name?”

I was chewing and didn’t rush that part to answer him. It would be good for him to wait. He needed to be as uncomfortable as he was making me feel…or would have been making me feel if I wasn’t already worn out on men at the moment. Leisurely, I swallowed.

“Yes.” Then I loaded my fork with another bite and kept on eating.

Clearly, I had flustered him…not enough for him to leave me alone, mind you, but his soft underbelly was beginning to show. It was all squishy and pink. He laughed it off. “What is it?” He asked in what was probably his most seductive tone.

“You already guessed it. Gorgeous. It’s right there on my birth certificate. Imagine how that could have gone had I not lived up to the hype.” I looked at him evenly, not even cracking a smile.

Would you believe he just kept talking, like we were old friends or soon to be bedroom buddies. That guy couldn’t have pried his way into my room with a crow bar. Nope. My vagina was closed to him for sure.

Finally I interrupted him, which was just as well since I had tuned out everything after his empty chuckle. “So, dude, what makes you think I was eating alone?” I asked with more than a hint of annoyance.

“Well, you walked in here alone,” he began nervously.

“Yes, well, that’s not the same thing as being alone.” This was the kind of moment that normally Jolie would rescue me from. She would show up and do something to ensure the guy knew we were “lovers.” Maybe this time I was on my own. Then I saw him. He had those classic good looks, pretty without looking feminine; a strong jaw, beautiful warm brown eyes, and rich brown hair that was both thick and curly. Why couldn’t that guy have pulled out my chair?

Standing, I stepped in front of him. “Babe, did you not see me? I was right here. Did you get my Coke?” I could see that he was mildly shocked. I could fix that. In a few seconds he was going to be majorly shocked. I planned to render him speechless…and malleable. I stood on my tiptoes and planted a kiss on the tip of his nose. As I imagined, I was offered a hungrier look. That’s when I made my move. Slowly, I matched my lips to his and then shifted so that I was angled and we were kissing…really really kissing. He played along. Seconds later he had played right into my hand. Wow wow wow.

“Help me, please,” I breathed into his ear.

“Anything for you, sexy.” He sealed his vow with a kiss on my cheek that totally did not suck. He looked over at my intruder. “Who’s this guy?” He asked, jerking his thumb in the guy’s direction.

“I have no idea. I’m sure he was just keeping the seat warm for you though.” I smiled at him and frowned over at the guy who was keeping me from my meal.

“Uh, yeah, I was just leaving,” the man mumbled. Then he stood up as he mumbled and soon walked away.

The new guy sat down. I stared over at him. “Hey, don’t mind me. I just ended up getting drawn into your little charade. Hope you don’t mind if I enjoy my meal while we keep up appearances?” He smiled

“Nope. We’re good,” I replied.
Though I was smiling at him, I had little to say. There was so much going on in my mind…and thanks to Jolie, having an orgasm wasn’t part of that. Still, I wasn’t going to turn down the possibility of some amazing guilt-free sex with a hot guy for anything. Only I wasn’t sure how to gain his attention. My smile hadn’t worked. The kiss hadn’t accomplished anything. What was it going to take to get a man like that to be interested in spending a few meaningless days on a cruise with me?

This is a twisting story of young love torn in two.

Abigail McCall has been accepted into Juilliard for Ballet. Being nineteen, she’s ready to move out of her tight shell at her parent’s house and in with her new roommates. Abigail finds herself distracted with things she never saw herself doing.

‘Hey, I’m Tucker.
That’s all it took. His own name rolling off his tongue.’

With no job and coming from a broken home with a mother who doesn’t care what happens to him, could you blame Tucker for being so secretive? The dark and mysterious Tucker has his sights set on the prim and proper ballerina. So he knows he has to change his self destructive ways in order to keep Abigail in his life. Which means, betraying his closest friends.

Obstacles are thrown at them.
They don’t approve of the ballerina and the poor boy.

The world won’t let Abigail and Tucker be together. What do they have to sacrifice to stay together…

Can the good come out in the bad? Or does someone always end up hurt and alone?

Tucker has nothing, but Abigail has everything to lose…

New Adult Novel. Contains adult situations, sexuality, some violence, and is suited for ages 18 and up.

Jenn’s Review of Juilliard or Else

Ok so where to begin with this one… I think that the first line of the synopsis says it best.  This is a twisting story!

I was immediately drawn to the story of the ballerina… The teaser photos were so amazingly beautiful and all the talk of Tucker well… It sort of played out like a modern day Romeo and Juliette.

Abigail is such a wonderful but broken character, forced to live with a mother that never approved of anything she did and nothing was ever good enough or done well enough.  Brought up with money, Abigail was forced to conform to the demands of her environment.  When she finally gets accepted to the prestigious school for ballet she is so excited and what does her evil mother say.  Don’t embarass your family!  WHO SAYS THAT!  Well her mother does.  This woman is pure evil, and isn’t a nice person at all.  I was torn between wanting her to be beaten over the head and hit by a NYC bus… yeah she truly was that BAD!  There was lots of ballet throughout and it felt so accurate that I was certain that Nichele was a dancer, but she said no… I was shocked!

When Abigail finally leaves home she is set free like a butterfly spreading their wings for the very first time.  In enters Tucker and he is truly an enigma.  Of course being the reader we know what Tucker is about and where he is and what he is doing.  He confuses Abigail because she’s never really had a boyfriend and she is having feelings that nobody has ever sparked in her before.  She is quickly smitten with Tucker and from their things get CRAZY!

There are so many twists in this one, some I thought well I could see that coming since it was bound to happen eventually.  And then I’d get smacked upside the head with something I couldn’t have seen coming from a mile away!  That makes me thrilled because these days it seems that so many books have become predictable for me.  The broken boy falling for the girl that is forbidden but what happens in this book is truly not what you’d expect.  Their are some revelations that will shock you!  I was personally shocked!

The happiest part was that their was a true ending to this story, NO CLIFFHANGER!  THANK  YOU NICHELE!!!!  I have read so many cliffhangers lately my head is spinning and my TBR is out of control with sequels and series, so I was pleasantly surprised when this book wrapped up at the end.

Do Abigail and Tucker get past their pasts, their differences in lifestyle and all the forces trying to keep them apart?  Well you will have to read for yourself to find out….

I give this debut novel a solid 4.5 stars…. It was a great read by a first time author!

Genre: New Adult Romance

“If you’re broken, I’ll fix you…”

I’m only twenty-one and already damaged goods. A slut. A failure. A disappointment to my picture-perfect family as long as I can remember. I called off my wedding to William Bailey, the only man who thought I was worth fixing. A year later, he’s marrying my sister. Unless I ask him not to…

“If you shatter, I’ll find you…”

But now there’s Asher Logan, a broken man who sees the fractures in my façade and doesn’t want to fix me at all. Asher wants me to stop hiding, to stop pretending. Asher wants to break down my walls. But that means letting him see my ugly secrets and forgiving him for his.

With my past weighing down on me, do I want the man who holds me together or the man who gives me permission to break?

Jenn’s Review of Unbreak Me

I really enjoyed reading this book.  It was a little on the short side, but overall I enjoyed reading this story.

Asher Logan quickly became a new book boyfriend for me.  He was such a fantastic character and I really thought he stole the show in this one.  I was torn at first thinking that she truly belonged with Will but quickly realized that Will was a stepping stone in the path to finding the man that she truly could love and could love her despite her past and her faults… But can’t she get past all the things that are blocking the road to happiness???

Who is she? Well she is Maggie. Maggie having suffered some really crappy things at the tender age of fifteen started to believe that she was no good.  She disappointed her family, and spent her whole teenage years being the outcast for something that truly WAS NOT HER FAULT!  She has so many dreams as a young girl, but her decisions cost her everything.  She’s faced with watching her sister marry the man that she was supposed to have her happily ever after with, but sadly she walked away not just for herself but to prevent Will having to ever know her secrets…

But Asher comes along at the point in time where she may need a savior the most.  Asher sees right through her no bull attitude and truly attempts several times to break down her walls.  Maggie puts up a fight and ends up hurting herself more in the process.  She’s forced to come clean with the past and tell truths that she vowed to bury behind her cold facade.  When faced with more drama can Maggie hold it together long enough to see what’s truly in front of her and what she desires more then anything… Love, acceptance and forgiveness… Can she mend the fences that she once mowed down with her reckless behaviors? Or will she end up with what she feels she deserves…

Well I cannot tell you that… You need to read it to find out what happens…

I give Unbreak Me a solid 4 stars.  I would have liked to seen a little more development of some of the characters in the book, but overall this is a solid read with a great storyline.  Love doesn’t always conquer all but this book sure does prove that theory wrong at times… You will be pleasantly surprised when some of the secrets are revealed in this book, even I couldn’t have guessed… It was heartwarming and funny all at the same time!

Ahser’s POV Pool Scene
There is a woman swimming in my pool.

Scratch that. There is a naked goddess swimming in my pool.

I drape my towel behind my neck and watch her in the moonlight. She pushes through lap after lap, pulling her body through the water as if she’s running away from something. And as I watch her, all curves and grace and beauty, my heart pounds like I’m the one doing laps.

When she finally stops, she’s out of breath and I’m aroused as fuck.

“Training for the Olympics?”

She snaps her head up in surprise, and even in the soft light of the moon I can make out her features enough to recognize the woman I danced with at the wedding.

What the hell is she doing here?

“Sneak up on many girls?” she asks.

“Only the special ones.” I drop my towel on a chair and dive into the water. I hadn’t been expecting company tonight, but if she went to the trouble to track me down, I can play along.

When I surface, her eyes are on me—my mouth, my bare chest.

“What are you doing here?” she asks, backing away.

“I live here.”

She snorts. “No you don’t.” Then, when I don’t reply, “Shit. Really? You’re Rich Dude?”

“Rich who?” Suddenly I’m feeling like a bit of an ass for diving in to join her. She’s naked in my pool but not here for me?

Damn the luck.

“Shit. I’m sorry. I just…” She’s laughing, and her posture is the most relaxed I’ve seen it yet.

The question is: If she didn’t come looking for me, why is she here?

Suddenly, it clicks and I have my answer. “You haven’t come to swim in a long time.”

That cuts her laughter short. “You watch me?”

I can’t tell if she’s appalled by the idea or aroused by it. Having just witnessed the way her naked curves look as she pulls herself through the water, I can imagine why someone might watch, but that’s not my style. No. If I’d seen Maggie swimming in my pool before tonight, watching would have never been enough.

“My groundskeeper told me a young girl used to sneak in about once a week,” I say, explaining what should have occurred to me when I first saw her here. “I assume that was you?”

“Why’d you stop?”

“I left town for a while,” she says, her words slow and carefully chosen.

“Looking for something?”

She shakes her head. “Running away.”

I understand running away. Hell, that’s why I’m here, isn’t it? I didn’t come to my house in New Hope because I thought I’d find something. Quite the opposite. I’ve been living here for the last year because of what I knew I wouldn’t find here. Trouble. Drama. Baggage.

And yet, here I am…Here we are…

As much as I’d like to be the gentleman, my eyes have a mind of their own, and I find my gaze dipping to the water and her bare breasts.

“Sorry I had to disappear earlier.” I’ve hardly met her eyes before my gaze travels south again, to the rise and fall of her breasts, to flat of her stomach in the water, the curve of her hip.

“I’d let you make it up to me,” she says, coming closer.

My resolve to stay away from this woman and her problems crumbles just like that. I could blame my many months of self-imposed abstinence, but that’s not the culprit here. My crumbling resolve has nothing to do with me wanting to be with a woman and everything to do with me wanting to be with this woman.

“You’ve had a long day,” I tell her. “You want to talk?”

She drapes her arms around my neck, and the feel of her nipples grazing my chest is enough to whip my breath from me. “Why would you think I want to talk to you at all?” she asks.

I grunt. “Because you’re looking at me like a starved woman at a prime rib buffet.”

“Yes,” she murmurs, staring into my eyes. “What does that have to do with talking?”

“Don’t you want us to get to know each other before you indulge?”

She tilts her head to the side. “I’m more about the meal than the conversation.”

There’s a heat in her green eyes that’s nearly irresistible, but there’s something else too. Something…almost familiar.

“You’re a kid,” I object lamely. We both know if her age was a real concern, I never would have taken her onto that dance floor.

She runs her finger down my neck and blood pulses so hot and fast to my cock, she may as well have touched me there. “I’m twenty-one,” she says. Then she wraps her legs around me, and I nearly lose my loose hold on control. Drama, baggage, trouble, none of it matters. Nothing matters but feeling that bare, slick skin against mine.

But that’s not true. There is something that matters. “Is this about him?” I ask.

She frowns. “Who?”

“The groom at your sister’s wedding? He has some kind of hold on you. I saw it in your eyes. In his.”

“This has nothing to do with William Bailey,” she says, but her face gives her away.

And yet, here I am, lowering my head to kiss her, when I know it’s a mistake, when I know she’s thinking about someone else, when that breaks every simple ass rule I’ve given myself for this year.

I’m acting on something more primal now, something that wants to protect her, something that says if she’s thinking of another man, she won’t be for long.

I’m careful to be slow. Soft, gentle. I don’t know this woman, but I feel like she deserves soft and gentle, and if I’m going to do this, I’m determined to be everything she deserves and more.

But she doesn’t just kiss me back. She bites my lip and digs her nails into my back. And I let instinct take over.

Q & A with Lexi Ryan

Q: Can you name another Indie Writer/s that inspires you and tell us why they inspire you?

A: I’d have to answer this with a generic “everybody who did it before me.” I definitely wasn’t one of the indie pioneers, and I am so grateful to the writers who blazed the trails and shared their experiences so that writers like me would be brave enough to try it and equipped enough to find success.

Q: Best compliment you have you received about your work.

A: My top favorites are any variation of “it made me laugh” or “it made me cry.” The only thing better than that is when a reader tells me she can’t wait to read it again.

Q: How do you deal with negative feedback?

A: I guess that depends on the context. My beta readers and crit partners will read and tell me what didn’t work for them. So often, I’m think, “Yeah, I knew there was something wrong with that, I just couldn’t figure out what!” (I love these people. They truly make me a better writer.) Negative reviews are a little different. Sometimes I read something in a negative review and think, “Yeah, I can work on that in my next book.” And sometimes the negative review isn’t something I can “fix” but just that the reader didn’t like my voice or the story I had to tell. And that’s okay. I write flawed characters; not everyone likes that. I like to include humor; not everyone likes that. And I write really sexy. Trust me, there are plenty of people who don’t like that. One of my favorite quotes is from Dita Von Teese. She said, “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.” It’s as simple as that.

Q: Who is you favorite book boyfriend and why?

A: Eric Northman of the Sookie Stackhouse series. Really? Do I need to explain that? LOL.

Q: Of all the stories you’ve written which is your fav and why?

A: UNBREAK ME is definitely my favorite. I’m not just saying that because I’m promoting it. I really believe it’s my best work. It’s definitely the heaviest subject matter I’ve ever dealt with in fiction, and I’m very proud of it.

Q: Best book that you’ve read so far this year.

A: Wait. You want me to choose one? I’m going to cheat and choose one mainstream and one romance. Mainstream, I loved GONE GIRL by Gillian Flynn. I can’t wait until I have the time to read it again. It was that good. Ditto for my romance/NA pick, EASY by Tammara Webber. I’ll read the both again and again. So good.

Q: Do you have any advice that you would like to impart to aspiring writers?

A: Yes: WRITE. Writers write. Don’t let anyone tell you that you have to reach their benchmark for success before you’re “a writer.” That’s BS. A writer is one who writes. It’s an identity, a habit, and a compulsion. Write, write, write, and then read. No need for expensive classes (unless you just want to) or a fancy degree (unless you just want it). Just write and read a ton and surround yourself with people who believe in you and your voice and your dream.

Q: Favorite book when you were a kid?

A: What age? LOL. I have many fond memories of my mom reading me Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, then when I was older I loved Judy Blume’s Blubber, then I was obsessed with Anne Rice’s Witching books while in middle school. Again, maybe there are just too many to name?

With only a month to convince her otherwise, will it be enough time to make her visualize a life beyond the glitz and glamour, a life that includes him?

Excerpt from Beauty From Surrender
Jack McLachlan’s POV

Three. Long. Fucking. Months. That’s how long it’s been since I’ve seen Laurelyn. And I don’t think I can take another minute. I die a little more each day she isn’t in my life.

She’s been damn near impossible to find. Fate has worked against us every step of the way. The hoops Jim has jumped through for the smallest bit of information have been ridiculous. One step forward, two steps back—instead of the other way around. A criminal on the run would’ve been easier to find.

But I’ve finally found her. Laurelyn Paige Prescott—better known to the public by her stage name as Paige McLachlan—that’s the woman I’m here to see tonight.

I still smile when I think about her taking my name, but I can’t help but ponder why she’d need to use a stage name. She never mentioned using one before and it makes me wonder if something happened with the sperm donor. Or worse—maybe with Blake Phillips.

I enter the auditorium lobby and the thick crowd makes it difficult to push through. The Martin I’m carrying adds to my difficult navigation as I bump shoulders through the horde, so I have to apologize with each step.

I find my assigned seat. Because I’m a creature of habit, I’m happy when I see it’s in a dark corner. I sit and place the Martin by my feet. I’m nervous and adrenalized as evidenced by my rapidly beating heart. I’m about to see the woman I love walk out onto that stage.

I look at the time and see it’s only a minute until eight. My heart is pounding erratically, throbbing in my ears over the loud crowd. Finally, musicians begin filing onto the stage to take their places. That’s when I see her for the first time in three months. My Laurelyn. All the time and distance that separated us disappears upon finally seeing her face again.

She looks the same, yet different. Her hair is a little longer and darker. Her honey highlights are missing and she’s slimmer. She’s still beautiful as ever but doesn’t fit the image etched in my mind these last few months.

She’s wearing brown boots—the same ones she wore the first time I saw her—with stonewashed jeans and a strapless white top. Her bare shoulders make me desperate to touch her exposed skin. And kiss it. Her top is fitted below her breasts while the bottom flows loosely over her jeans. I picture them riding low on her hips so I have easy access to kiss her belly.

Things are about to get interesting!! I’ll give you a little information on each woman without giving too much away. I wouldn’t want to spoil the book for you!!

Let’s start with Lucie. Quiet, reserved, mind your own business Lucie. She is tired of the corporate world and is finally following her dreams to open her own catering business. With the help of her family and boyfriend things are falling into place. But at what cost?? Then there’s Sharon. Call them as you see them, take no bull Sharon. When Chelsea invites her to come out with her she’d rather be at home with her cat. Her lack of sleep due to the noisy neighbor was making her cranky but what could one drink hurt?? Next is Chelsea. She only wants to find real, true love and get married and have a family and finally have her Happy Ever After. She thought she had that once, until her best friend decided she wanted John for herself. They had a deal right? That brings us to Bianca. Beautiful, tall, sexy, and crazy as the day is long, Bianca. She married John for his money but even that wasn’t enough. What lengths would she go to get what she wants?? Oh y’all would not believe the things this woman comes up with! Which brings us to the shy, quiet little farm girl from Vermont, Kate. Kate just wants to fit in. She’s never been pretty or popular so when Bianca invites her to go out for drinks with her and her friends, she is more than happy to go along. Maybe she could finally make friends and not feel so homesick. Her husband Grant would be thrilled if she made new friends in Connecticut, or would he??

Oh My did I LOVE this one!! I couldn’t put it down!! These ladies had me laughing and crying, they frustrated me and made me want to scream. But that’s what a great book is all about right?? And this book was great. The characters were so well developed and I Loved the many different points of view and how the chapters were by drink of choice rather than number or name! Each person had a different attitude and personality that seemed to be so different from the others it made you wonder how any of them could be friends at all! Each woman has their own personal conflicts they are dealing with too. The friendships that develop throughout the book are wonderful. The daily struggles and how each person tied into the next in different ways without ever knowing it, made it all the more intriguing. At the end each one of the five women was not the same person as the first night they all met for drinks. This one is a MUST read!! I give Cocktail Hour 4.5 Stars!!

Mackenzie “Max” Miller has a problem. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Even worse, they’re expecting to meet a nice, wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.

Cade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. So far though, he’s kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they’re forced to keep the ruse going. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel.

On the outside, Huntley Morgan is your typical girl-next-door, with her long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and that’s exactly what she wants people to see. Her name exposes her to the demons of her past but remembering her reason for moving across the country to start over is what keeps her alive. For the first time since the brutal murder of her mother, Huntley allows herself to care about the people around her.

Grayson Carter has everything a 21yr old College Senior could wish for – he’s the star of Whitley University’s football team, he has a different girl willing to be in his bed every night and a supportive family. For years he has managed keep his family together and hide their dark secrets from the small town of Breckinridge, Alabama.
When Huntley and Grayson meet, a force so strong pulls them together in a hurricane of feelings neither of them could have ever anticipated. Huntley and Grayson try to stay away from each other, but when Huntley’s demons seek her out, their pasts become the biggest storm of all.

Will they learn to trust each other and build a new future together or will they simply do nothing to prevent history from repeating itself?

As if you have any doubt that it’s going to be amazing, Tamsyn gave us these little teasers to reel you in –> (That was in my Deuce voice)

Excerpt #1

My breath catches in my throat and it’s like all time is standing still, freezing this moment before it flies past too quickly. Nothing else exists.
Her blonde hair is pulled up high in a messy bun with a few loose tendrils hanging in her face. She’s wearing a white sundress that compliments her sun kissed skin and red cowboy boots that make her legs look they go on forever. God have mercy… those legs… My mind goes straight to conjuring up images of seeing her in nothing but those red boots.
I don’t think Blondie could get any hotter but then she proves me wrong when she laughs, a light choral sound that echoes through every bone in my body and settles itself in the core of my stomach. I am completely transfixed, my eyes following her every move until she disappears into the kitchen.

Excerpt #2
The timing couldn’t be worse because as he makes his way around to where Brody was sitting I finally get a good look at him.
The True Religion jeans he has on hug his lean waist and his grey fitted shirt does nothing to hide his well-defined chest. If I had to guess, he’s at least 6 feet tall. That only draws my attention to his broad shoulders and I see now that he’s a whole lotta muscle. Add all of this to a square jaw and full lips and you’ve found the perfect recipe for one thing…Sex On Legs.
His mouth pulls up in a sexy smirk when he catches me staring and I blush before turning my gaze away. Some people would say I just eye-fucked him and unfortunately, I’m inclined to agree. I may have sworn off all guys but I’m still human and can’t help my physical reaction to such a gorgeous piece of man. The fact that he’s obviously half past drunk should’ve stopped me but nooo I still undressed him with my eyes.

Excerpt #3
I walk to the door but when I open it I’m completely unprepared for what’s in front of me.  Or rather who is in front of me.
Huntley is wearing a coral sundress with matching pumps. The colour accentuates her sun-kissed skin. She’s glowing.
Her hair is curled and left loose, hanging down past her shoulders. My eyes stop at her lips, pink and glossy. I stand there like an idiot and shamelessly drink her curves in.
She clears her throat and for a brief second I’m lost in the depth of those Cobalt irises. I have never seen stormy blue eyes until now.  They tell a story, about what I’m not sure, but its there, in those stormy depths and I want to find out what it is.
“Hi,” she whispers. Her musical voice moves through my body and jolts me from my daze.

Excerpt #4
He chuckles and I watch his chest move with the sound. “I said,” his voice still a breathy whisper, “You can look. I know you want to.”
I swallow. Hard.
Of course he’s right. I want to look.
So I do.
His lips are parted, his breathing coming out in short wisps like mine. His chin is covered in light stubble and I have the sudden urge to lick it. The skin on his neck is smooth, still coated in droplets of water that skate over the light freckles on his shoulders. I know his shoulders are broad but I didn’t see how broad until now. My scrutiny stops at his pecs and spot the little silver bar sticking out of his nipple. Fuuuuck. That’s so sexy. I bite my tongue to prevent myself from pulling it into my mouth. His hand slips under my shirt and rests on my hip. His thumb traces lazy circles on my hip bone and my skin blazes from the fervour of that small stroke. Oh.My.God. He’s teasing me, tempting me. I rest my hands in his chest and gently graze my index fingers over his nipples. It makes me smile when I feel him shiver.  He isn’t as unaffected as he’d have me think. I look back up and he’s staring at me, trying to see right into my soul. It’s unnerving, like the feel of his racing heartbeat under my palm. I like that it’s racing because of me.
He moves his leg and pushes it up between the apex of my thighs. I bite my lip but it doesn’t stop a moan from escaping my mouth. He has me so tightly strung I’m afraid one more slight brush of his leg will set me off. “Do you know how crazy you make me?” he asks, his eyes never leaving mine. I nod and he gives me his lopsided grin. God I want to kiss him so badly. “Why have you been avoiding me?” I ask. I need to know. We can’t keep tip-toeing around each other like this. “Because this is a bad idea. You’re going to break me and I’m already damaged. I’m just not sure how much longer I can stay away from you.” His answer surprises me. I take a step forward, his bare chest only a sliver of space away from mine.
