They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They’re right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister’s ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.

They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. They’re right.
She sets my mind on fire.
All smart mouth, snarky attitude and a huge heart.
In a world where everything is dull, she shines like fucking Sirius.
Eleven years ago, fate tore us apart.
This time, I fucking dare it to try.
Getting to her is a battlefield, but man, that’s why they call me Ruckus.
Rosie LeBlanc is about to find out how hard I can fight.
And conquering her will be the sweetest victory.

Dean, holy hotness, drop your panties, RUCKUS causing, Cole! What a perfect specimen you turned out to be! I’ve got a serious BBF crush! Ruckus is the third book in the Sinners of Saint series.. And if you haven’t read any of the other ones I think you should!!! … although I don’t think you HAVE to to understand Dean and Rosie’s story, they are just that freaking good!

Dean actually dated Rosie sister, Millie, while they’re in high school. And this book picks up in their late 20 somethings. It does go from past to present a tiny bit, so we are able to see Rosie and Dean interact when they were younger. And I loved that!! And usually I don’t … but high school Dean and Rosie were hilarious …. The whole book is not past to present just a little bit. But the book is dual POV, which is my fav. I love knowing what’s going on in both sides/minds of the story and knowing what’s going on in Dean’s head?!? was the freaking best!! He is something else! Ohh the man has swagger, style and game for miles… but little Rosie.. she’s just perfect for him! She shuts him down! Their chemistry is of the goosebumpy kind..

I can’t believe the twist and surprises the author was able to incorporate into this book…  she had me guessing for chapters upon chapters … and then of course fooled at the end 2X over!! This book has been written brilliantly….  I love LJ’s writing style. I love how she brings the angst between the couple to a BOILING POINT!! She has you on the edge of your seat pretty much the whole time!

Ruckus is one of those books that I wish I had a ‘do over’ button. A re-read like I’ve never read it before. Dean is probably one of my all time favorite book boys! Gawd I. LOVE. HIM.  He’s all alpha, but broken and through his brokenness his amazing, gorgeous, panty melting, smart personality comes out! Ohhh his heart… he has a giant heart that is mush… and it softens….  He loves his Rose and REFUSES let her wilt! Phenomenal writing.. gritty, raw story line that punches you right in the gut! So ya know y’all gotta read it! Phew… ;)

5 Flaming HOT stars!!
