Synopsis:THIS KIND OF BUSINESS CAN ONLY BE PERSONAL
Sage Reese lives for her job. More precisely, she lives for her debonair boss, Parker Andersen. Sage handles everything for Parker, even as she fantasizes about the one thing that isn't in her job description: him. But when a high-stakes account crosses the line from shady to deadly, a tough cop starts giving Sage the attention she wishes Parker would . . .
Detective Dean Ryker couldn't be more different from Parker. While Parker wears expensive suits like a second skin and drives a BMW, Ryker's uniform is leather jackets and jeans . . . and his ride of choice is a Harley. While Parker's sexiness is a reserved, slow burn, Ryker is completely upfront about what-and who-he's after. And Sage tops his list. Now, as Ryker digs deeper into the dark side of Parker's business, Sage finds herself caught between two men: the one she's always wanted-and the one who makes her feel wanted like never before . . .

This was my very first read by Tiffany Snow, and I assure you it won’t be my last! I’m already addicted to this story and can’t wait for the next book! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this love triangle story. On one hand I knew I’d have a sexy business man and a bad boy, but I wasn’t sure what the girl would be like. I hate when the girl is all dopey and can’t make a decision. Fortunately Sage was able to come to terms and make a decision at the end of this book, even if I don’t agree with her choice…
Sage is the personal assistant, or if you will administrative assistant to Parker. She is pretty much at his beck and call 24/7 and she knows that she doesn’t just do it for a pay check. She has feelings for him, even though most of the time he’s cold and indifferent, and only calls her for business related reasons. But that doesn’t stop her from fantasizing about him when she shouldn’t be… It isn’t until detective Ryker, comes for a visit with Parker, and shows interest in her, that Parker even speaks to her on a more personal level. His motives, to warn her away from Dean… Sage doesn’t know what to do with the sudden interest in who she sees or dates, but she kinda likes it. As the story moves she gets so many mixed signals from Parker, it confuses, infuriates and humiliates her at times so much so you want to beat him over the head.
Dean is sassy, sexy and spunky, but the whole book I really felt like he had a hidden agenda when it came to Sage. I mean it makes sense, get close to the girl, who’s involved with the man he is investigating… The mystery around his sudden interest in Sage soon folds away, I think that on a base level he does truly care for her, and is truly interested, especially after the fun and romantic date he takes her on. But I just felt like there was something truly missing between them. There was lust for sure but that spark just didn’t light for me when they were together.
Parker is literally an A$$ for most of this book. I loved every minute, cause you could tell he was holding back where Sage was concerned. I knew deep down that his feelings for her went beyond, boss and employee, but he does hide it all very well, until that is Dean Ryker, he one time friend comes sniffing around. Parker becomes a different man when he sees Dean and Sage together. Thus creating that angsty push and pull between them. But the beauty of it is that the love triangle isn’t the only part of this story, there is a danger and suspense weaved all along the path, Sage’s life is threatened, and Parker is to blame for her being in the crosshairs of the Russian Mafia! Yeah it’s a crazy ride to say the least…
This triangle will make you a little crazy at times. I honestly didn’t know who my choice was until the very end of the book. Unfortunately I truly believe that Sage made the wrong choice. But we will have to wait and see what happens in the next book. I’m pretty certain that the man not chosen isn’t going to give up easily, sometimes the heart just wants what it wants and it doesn’t matter who we have to go through to get it. I can’t wait to see what Tiffany has in store for these three… I give this one 4 solid stars. There were a few things I would have like to have seen a little further development on.
