Synopsis:Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day of her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

First let me start by saying, this is not an “normal” Colleen Hoover book. Going in, I expected my feel good storyline with lots of Colleen’s awesome fluff and poetic words, with a super sweet book boyfriend that made me remember what it felt like to fall in love for the first time…And then I opened November 9 and sat in awe at this author who I thought I knew and quickly realized- she is SO much more than what she has showed us in the past.. And what I knew about her, I already loved.. Now I’m like .. WOW. Just.. WOW.
Words fail me at the moment. I don’t really even know how to express the emotions that I am feeling for this book.. For Benton James Kessler, who quite honestly may the absolute perfect book boyfriend in the history of book boyfriends. (I truly thought that was Will Cooper but Will meet Ben- he did his homework) My heart is so huge from all the feelings I’m having.
Fallon and Ben are the reason I love to read. They were so real and I was there with them throughout the entire story and honestly, I wasn’t ready to let them go. Their story is such a reality check for all the days I want to feel sorry for myself for the little things that in the end do not matter one bit. Everyday is another chance to LIVE happy. November 9 will never let me forget that.
November 9 is an unforgettable read that will bury itself into your heart, mind, and soul. Thank you Colleen Hoover once again for another amazingly unique storyline. Five stars would be a disgrace to this book.. It’s a CoHo 10 star!
