When I read my very first Indie book about 3 years ago, I absolutely fell in love with it. I’ve always been a reader and this opened up a whole new world for the reading world. I’m a contemporary romance junkie and I admit a cover snob. When I saw this cover, I knew I needed this book in my hands ASAP. After a friend (thanks, Heather!) contacted me saying “I’d really like you to try this book out,” I was SO excited.
Let’s talk about Dani.. I absolutely loved her. Sometimes I wanted to shake her but I understood where she was coming from. The relationship she and Piper share I absolutely adored. In fact, I want a book for Piper..Like yesterday
3 words for ya:
A true southern gentleman, he loves his Momma, a hard worker, and SAF.
“I still can’t believe she’s giving me a chance prove myself to her, and I pray to God I don’t screw it up.”
“If it’s chivalry she wants, it’s chivalry she’ll get. I’d like to chival her right out of her pants.”
He’s everything I love in a book boyfriend and I was literally begging Dani to just jump on.. LOL
I absolutely loved the Landry family. Especially Annie–> “Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit”
I need an Annie in my life. I need a Micah in my life. I need a Piper in my life.. Basically I need to be Dani.
I LOVED this story. I’m a forever fan of Jiffy Kate. Finding Focus was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for bringing what I love about the Indie world back to life. A simple story line that makes me love.. Love.
