A STARLET REVIEW: BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE BY VI KEELAND

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.

He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.

When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.

You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend–smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.

He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he’d done.

Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.

Only it turned out, the man I’d just told off wasn’t the right guy.

Oops.  My mistake.

Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.

I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?

That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning.

Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.

I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking.

Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West.

This was going to be interesting…

My Review

All the feels and the OMG’s with this one…all.of.them. Beautiful Mistake will evoke all of your emotions. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll get turned on. But most of all, you will love…love these characters and this incredible story! I have enjoyed every single one of Vi’s books but she really knocks it out of the park with this one.

This is probably one of the hardest and shortest reviews I will ever write. There’s so much to this story that I don’t want to give anything away. Every reader deserves to experience this whirlwind for themselves.

You would never know based on the way Caine and Rachel’s story begins, that Vi is going to take you on such a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It starts out the way many contemporary romance start…guy and girl meet in a bar, words are exchanged, a case of mistaken identity, regretful things are said… and then just takes this crazy turn that you really don’t see coming. Both characters have some deep issues in their pasts that will have your heart aching for them. I really found myself connecting with Rachel and loving Caine for his need to protect and take care of his loved ones.

There are SO many things I want to say right now but I can’t. I told you this one was going to be short. I’m just going to leave you with this…

I read this book in ONE sitting. As in I could NOT put it down. I was just that invested. I also had to immediately contact another blogger I knew had read it to discuss. It was just that good and thought provoking. Did I mention all the feels?? I can’t say enough good things. This one was a big 5 star for me and a MUST read <3
